Service 08 / Tracking & Systems

Ads, landing page and tracking as one scope.

Most Google Ads problems aren't in the ad account. They're in what happens after the click; which is why we don't manage ads separately from the page they point at.

The friction

The three-vendor problem

The common arrangement is one company running ads, another owning the website, and nobody owning the tracking. When cost per lead climbs, the ads vendor blames the site, the site vendor blames the ads, and the business owner has no way to settle it.

  1. We take all three

So the question is answerable; and so there is nobody to blame but us.

  2. Already have an ads manager you trust?

That is a good arrangement too. We will take the page and the tracking and work alongside them. Often the better fit.

The scope

What's included

Defined before work starts. Documented when we hand it over.

  1. 01Account structure built around the services you actually want, not every service you offer
  2. 02A landing page per campaign, matched to the ad
  3. 03Conversion tracking verified before spend, not diagnosed after
  4. 04Call tracking, so phone leads are attributed properly
  5. 05Negative keywords maintained; the ongoing work most accounts skip
  6. 06Geographic targeting matched to your real service area
  7. 07Reporting on calls and booked jobs, not impressions
  8. 08Your account, your billing, your data

How we think about it

Your ad account, not ours

01

Everything is built in your Google Ads account under your billing. If we stop working together, the account, the campaigns, and the conversion history stay with you.

02

That history is what the bidding algorithm has learned from. Starting again in a fresh account means starting that learning from zero, which is a real and often unmentioned cost of switching agencies.

Your Google Ads account, your billing, your conversion history. That last one costs more to lose than most people realise.

Questions

Can you work with my existing ad account?

Yes, and it is usually better; the conversion history is worth keeping.

Will you take over an account that is performing badly?

Yes. We start with an audit so you know what you are getting before committing. If the account is fine and the problem is the website, we will tell you that.

Do I have to use your landing pages?

For campaigns we manage, yes; the page is most of what determines whether the spend works, and we cannot be accountable for a page we do not control.

What if ads are not right for my business?

Some businesses should not run ads; margins too thin, service area too small, or no capacity for more work. We will say so at the audit stage rather than take the retainer.
